I am actually really tired. I didn't sleep very much last night and I went out today.
But heck it was fun. :D

SS is awesome.
Even the sushi we make is awesome. QiaoEn and her rice balls, and me and my sucky cutting skills. Deborah cuts sushi really well.

So we meet up at Jurong, (me being extra early as usual) and we head over to IMM to eat. There was this brief discussion over halal restaurants, and ended up going to Banquet. I really wanted to eat their charkwayteow again, because the last time I ate it (during Council camp), it was awesome. But QiaoEn said she wanted to try their fish&chips and it looked cool so I tried it too. QiaoEn claimed they tasted like the fish&chips from Fish & Co.
And then we split up, Joan Chua, Rachel Lim, Penelope, Le-Yi went off to Daiso, and Deborah Loone, QiaoEn, Valerie Loo, Haseena, Yong Shin, Jiawei and I went off to Giant. It was really fun. We took tons of pictures and stuff. I thought we really bonded. :DDD Haseena caught an unglam picture of Deborah, and a hilarious video of JiaWei an YongShin sliding around on the floor with their flip-flops.
We bought two monster bottles of green tea, because apparently it would taste good with sushi (but it's the sweetened kind!). And I took one of them, and said to Haseena, "This is my boyfriend. We're gonna watch a movie together." Then we left IMM for the busstop, where I dumped Green T. He was cheating on me; dating the other bottle of green tea. Haseena then claimed that they were gay.
And then we got on bus 333 to Le-Yi's place. People got amused by the lift that leads directly to the door. Then we got stuck up there because Le-Yi took the second carriage and the door was locked. So we just stood there and talked, and Deborah said it still felt like a lift, because we were all squashed in a tiny area, with a lift door on one of the walls. Then the door to Le-Yi's house suddenly opened (because her dad opened it)!!! And then Le-Yi's lift appeared and she was all, "I thought no one was at home!"
Sushi-making was fun. The seniors cooked the rice and we cut the stuff and while they continued making the rice we all went to play Taboo. QiaoEn and I have great chemistry. When the rice was cooked everyone made the seaweed kind of sushi. You know, the cylinder kind. That was when I picked up one of the thin long cylinders and said, "This is my boyfriend, Max." into Haseena's camera.
I cut up Max.
We had fun eating him.
Heh. Heh. Heh.
Then they all got bored of cylinder sushis wrapped in seaweed so they attempted rice balls. QiaoEn kept wrapping hers, then instead of taking it out of its clingwrap, she brought it around and waved it at people. Haseena made a huge tuna one, then left it, unwrapped and covered in leaky tuna, on my chopping board. >:/ Okay technically it was Le-Yi's chopping board, but I was using it. And she just left a rice ball, slick with tuna, (The tuna was supposed to be inside, but guess who wrapped it on the outside?) sitting on it. And I had no space to cut any more sushi. I made her take it away but she refused, so I poked it and rolled it around with the knife till she took it away.
All of us then got bored with sushi, and reverted to TV and TapTap. QiaoEn and I had a discussion about how cool people watched CSI, and how the Guides who wanted to watch CSI should head over to someone's house, crowd on one comfy sofa and have a CSI marathon. Then when we were scared we could hide behind the braver ones. It sounds nice. I hope we do it. Anyway, Le-Yi suggested we watch one of her many DVDs, and we ended up watching Legally Blonde 2. I like that movie. Haha. It was amusing. Especially the whole, "It's time to speak up! I think Timothy is smokin'!" thing. Everyone laughed. I was going to say, "Oh yeah girl, agreed to the max." but it was inappropriate considering who I was with. (But honestly, he was cute.)
So that's how we spent our department outing. How did you spend YOURS?

...
Was that from the Carl's Junior's New Portobello Mushroom Burger commercial?
